11 Hour Road Trip, Here We Come

Tomorrow Tiffany, Caleb and I are departing on our 11 hour road trip from Fort Worth to L.A. (lower Alabama, that is). While it’s easy to get excited about vacation, it’s hard to get excited being in the car that long, especially when you leave at 3:00PM. However, there are several critical variables that will make this car trip a good one:

1. We must beat rush hour traffic out of the Metroplex.


2. I must keep blindfold myself when I fill up with gas so I won’t kill over from sticker shock.


3. We must find a gas station restroom at midnight where we won’t fear getting a deadly disease.


4. I can’t forget my reading light.


5. I must find a country radio station between here and there. Oh yeah, that’s the only kind of radio station there is between TX and AL.


6. Caleb must sleep…a lot…need I say more? Yes…one more.


7. The driver should strongly consider not sleeping.

I’m sure there are more but that’s all for now.
