Review of “A Whole New Mind”
Over the weekend I wrote a book review for A Whole New Mind by Daniel Pink. The review was posted on Godbit.com. This is a fascinating book that talks about how, according to the author, we’re already moving out of the information age and into to the conceptual age. In this conceptual age, new skills and abilities will need to be focused on if we’re to survive. A highly recommend the book. Read the full review.

The Office
Here are a few pictures of my office where I work. The word around the campus is that we have one of the friendliest and most inviting offices. What makes the room cool?

Breakfast Prayer
Caleb thinks he is the only one who can say the blessing before a meal. We love to get him going by saying, “Who wants to say the blessing?” He immediately starts screaming his name.

Back From Sea World
We just returned from our spontaneous trip to Sea World. We left on Sunday and came back on Tuesday evening. We stayed a few miles from the park at a Holiday Inn Express which we chose because of its heated pool.

Sea World - Egg Ferris Wheel
I’m riding with Caleb on the egg ferris wheel. To keep from falling asleep, I encouraged Caleb to yell out things like “Hello Sea World” and “Hey Mamma” and “Knapsack” (An inside joke that I still have no idea where it came from or why Caleb thought it’s funny) while we were waiting to be unloaded.

Sea World - Paint Buckets Ride
Tiffany and Caleb in the paint buckets. I confessed that I wimped out on this one. I still can’t get past the time I threw up on the tilt-a-whirl at the carnival in Chickasaw.

Sea World - Shamu Coaster
Tiffany and Caleb are riding the little Shamu Coaster. Tiffany has a bright teal shirt and she’s sitting on the outside. Unfortunately you can’t see Caleb. For safety, the little ones have to sit on the inside. Caleb loved it. Maybe one day, I’ll get a digital video player that actually has sounds!

It’s A Miracle!
We experienced a really big miracle last night. It’s a miracle that Andy and I and others had spent a lot of time praying about.
