Cultural Differences
The other day I think I gave Caleb the stupidest answer to any question he has ever asked. Sometimes as a parent you have to make things up as you go because either you don’t know the answer or the answer is too complicated for a two year-old to understand.

How Our Bat Story Could Have Ended
Over the weekend, I was horrified to read about a 16 year old boy in Houston who died of rabies after being bitten by a bat. My heart goes out to that family of Zachary Jones. I cannot imagine the pain of burying your child.

Hey Mom!
The hard work of motherhood may have been completed more than a decade ago, but now that I’m grown, I see more clearly. I see what it is you accomplished and what it is you sacrificed. Back in the day, you may have wondered what all you were giving up in order to raise kids. It probably seemed thankless. It may have felt overwhelming. It was definitely exhausting, but you kept going.

Be Careful What You Ask For
For about two months we’ve prayed that God would lead someone to buy our house. A two-hour round trip commute each day has a way of wearing you down. On Saturday we’ve had our most promising house buying prospect yet.
