Last night at 11 pm the phone rang. It was a call I had been expecting. Our friend Heather was in labor and I rushed to her house to spend the night with their daughter Rachel.

Caleb has always loved playing with my ID badge, so I asked the church’s security officer for permission to make one for him. She thought it was “cute,” so she went out of her way to help me make it.

We are proud owners of season tickets! Rangers? Nope. Cowboys? Not likely. Mavericks? Not hardly. We are proud owners of NRH₂0 season passes. It’s a water park in nearby North Richland Hills.

Here are three random stories that involve Caleb from today. It’ll give you a glimpse into his little world

Today marks three months since I joined the web team at Fellowship Church. And yesterday morning, in the wee hours, we launched our redesigned CreativePastors website. As an ecommerce site, CreativePastors offers resources and ministry tools from our pastor, Ed Young.

Caleb’s imagination has gone wild the last few months. I am amazed at all of the crazy things he thinks up. Unfortunately most of this pretend play comes at naptime. He has naptime (better known as rest time lately) everyday from 12:30-2:30. However he is only admitting defeat and sleeping about every second or third day now. He is happy the entire time he is in his room, and he has never gotten out of his bed.

My gray hair that it is. Ever since the day I found a small patch of gray hair when I was in middle school, I’ve always known that I was going to be a young gray-haired.

If you’re the parent of young children and you want to be a superhero then listen up. All you have to do is get a cheap backyard kiddie pool, and the kids will think you are the greatest. Read on and watch this movie.
