I went to a Delirious? concert the other night with a friend I work with. I’ve been a fan of theirs for about ten years.

Caleb said the sweetest thing at the park this morning. He was talking to our friend Mrs. Heather, and he said, “I have a story for you”.

After fighting a courageous battle with cancer, my dad’s mother Annie Tucker died this week. Gran Gran—as her 26 grandchildren called her—was 88 years old and an amazing woman.

Yesterday we celebrated Caleb’s third birthday. Gee, ain’t it funny, how time slips away. Seems like only yesterday that he came into this world. I was helping Caleb wash his hands today in a restaurant and an older gentleman told me about how fast they grow up.

Caleb was laying on the kitchen floor tonight thumbing through a toy catalog that we got in the mail. After about 5 minutes, Tiffany finally asked him, “Do you see anything you like in there?”

Today I join with my fellow Americans to wish our nation a happy 230th birthday. I’m proud to be an American, to live in the greatest country on the planet.
