For those of you who don’t know, Caleb is going to be a big brother around the first of March. He doesn’t know about it yet, but we plan on telling him in about a month. As a typical male he isn’t very observant. He seems oblivious to my growing belly and new bigger clothes.

I took Caleb to the Fort Worth Stockyards today, and he had a blast. He really enjoyed running in the stick horse races. Here’s some footage of that event:

There’s a nice article about Fellowship Church (FC) that was published recently in the Miami Herald. You might ask, “Why would a Miami newspaper write a story about a Texas Church?” That’s because FC is no longer just a Texas church.

Caleb has a hard time napping some afternoons. He lies in there and talks to himself about all sorts of things as content as he can be. He usually has a question for me as soon as I walk in the room, so I can tell what he has been thinking about

Saturday all three of us were in our master closet while I was trying to decide what to wear. Caleb was busy playing in the deep dark corners of the closet when he made an interesting discovery.

Time is precious. We all know that. Don’t we? No matter who you are, where you live, what your responsibilities are, or how much money you make, we all have the same twenty-four hours.

My son is an addict, and I think I qualify as an enabler. By definition, an enabler is a family member or significant person in an addict’s life that contributes to the afflicted person’s continued use and abuse of the substance. Examples of enabling include making excuses for the afflicted person and/or supplying the person with more of the addictive substance.
