Anna

We lost our baby “Anna” yesterday. She was born on October 24th at 5:12pm—a mere 21 weeks into Tiffany’s pregnancy. She weighed just 10 ounces. She was 9 and a half inches long. We never got to hold her in our hands, but we will forever hold her in our heart.

My parents James and Carolyn (a.k.a. Pappy and Grandy) are in town this week from Alabama. Today we had the privilege of celebrating their 40th anniversary with them. Wow! 40 years!

A Week at Camp Mimi

Caleb has been having a blast with my mom this week. He left Thursday morning and will return this coming Friday. It doesn’t seem to bother him that he is away from mom and dad.

Pity Party

I should be in Tallahassee, Fl right now for my cousin’s wedding this weekend, but instead I am having a big pity party. Caleb and I had airfare to Atlanta this morning, but pregnancy complications left me grounded. Caleb was going to spend time with Mimi, Wayne, and Clyde while I lived the good life in a hotel with my sister bouncing between luncheons and dinners with family that I haven’t seen for over a year.

If there is one color that’s lacking from my life, I’d have to say it’s pink. That’s all about to change. We’re having a girl!

Field Trippin’: Air Show

On Saturday I took Caleb to Fort Worth’s Alliance Air Show which featured the Air Force Thunderbirds. I’ve always loved air shows and have always been fascinated by airplanes of all kinds. With 100,000 people in attendance roaming the concrete desert, this was not just an air show, it was an adventure.
