First Day of School Was Just Plain Fun

Well…Caleb went to his first day of preschool yesterday, and he absolutely loved it. He was so excited he did his morning chores in record time.

Lookout, Here He Comes

Caleb’s first day of preschool is today, so as a little end-of-the-summer blowout we took a trip to Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga this past weekend as a way of saying, “Lookout, here I come.”

Caleb has spent more time this summer under water than he has above it. We couldn’t help but buying a waterproof camera so we could document it.

I Owe It All To My College Bowling Coach

Andy and I took a bowling class together in college. We thought it would be a great way to spend time together. We broke up at the beginning of that semester, so we spent a miserable semester together in class but apart in love. We got back together right before the final because I pretended not to know how to keep score. Since that was a big part of the final, Andy offered to tutor me. I guess he realized that night how empty his life was without me, and he took me back.

Four Months To Go

Today marks the five months down and four months to go point in my pregnancy. It is going by so fast. I couldn’t ask to feel any better than I do. I had very little morning sickness early on, and I am still feeling really well. I can’t complain at all!

Crabby

Caleb is into pretending he is a crab fisherman. While watching Bear Grylls, he sometimes sees the commercial previews for the show The Deadliest Catch. We don’t let him watch the actual show because of the rough language, but he still has become fascinated with the life of a crabber.

For the last six weeks, I’ve been working with Terry Storch and the LifeChurch.tv team on a really amazing web site called YouVersion.com. Well, today the “Alpha” version is being released to a limited number of people by invitation only.
