24
I don’t write much about TV, because I rarely watch it. But if there’s one TV show you’re going to watch this season, I recommend Fox’s 24. You may have heard the premise of the show: the entire show happens in “real time” with 24 episodes that span a single 24-hour day.
The main character is Jack Bauer. He’s now a former CTU (Counter Terrorist Unit) operative. I say “former” because everyone believes he’s dead.
Last season ended with Jack faking his death to prevent being sent to China to be tried under their laws for giving orders to raid the Chinese Consul. Only a handful of people know that Jack is really alive including a couple fellow agents and the President, Wayne Palmer, who is now the former President.
Jack is widowed. He has a daughter who doesn’t know he’s alive.
Since faking his death 18 months earlier, Jack is living a new life under an assumed name, Frank Flynn. He’s working on an oil refinery in the Mojave Desert. He has a girlfriend and neighbor named Diane who has a teenage son named Derek.
The Former President is assassinated. Jack is framed. Is the current president in on it?
The first two episodes aired last night. The next two will air tonight. In case you missed it last night (ahem…Sweetheart, that’s you), but you want to start watching, here’s a synopsis of the first two hours you’ve missed:
7:00 AM – 8:00 AM
8:00 AM – 9:00 AM

Yeh I love 24, it is very gripping and have watched every series to date which I think is series 5 now. Series 6 will hopefully be coming out soon after Christmas. I can’t remeber how many Keifer Sutherland is contracted to do but I think he will stop after the 7th or 8th series. Do you think he will die at the end?
