My grandmother’s celebrated her 90th birthday last week. She looked radiant. All NINE of her children descended onto Wagarville, AL, to be there for her.

Unfortunately my grandfather was not well enough to attend. They’ve been married…I think…close to 70 years, so I know he hated not being there.

It’s hard for me to comprehend the number changes they have witnessed over that period of time…changes in their appearance, in the physical landscape where they live, in technology, in society, in basically everything. My mind is officially blown.

Tiffany, I, and the kids weren’t able to attend either because Andrew was still too young to travel that far. Thanks to Chris for these and the rest of the photos.
