Andrew’s First Week
Andrew was a week old yesterday. The first week has gone unexpectedly well. We got 8 hours of sleep the last two nights, and he doesn’t fuss much…yet.

There are also few things that I had forgotten about babies:
I had forgotten how much babies sleep.
I had forgotten how cute babies are.
I had forgotten how helpless babies are.
I had forgotten how light babies are.
I had forgotten how a baby’s skin is so soft.
I had forgotten how a baby smells. Mostly good, and well, sometimes not so good.
I had forgotten how quickly you fall in love with your baby.

What a perfect tune for a perfect baby! When the term “baby soft skin” is used on tv commercials, my first thought is that there is nothing that will make an adult ANYTHING as soft as an infant’s delicate skin. Congratulations!
