Bean Town’s Brightest Designer… in my humble opinion
This past weekend, Tiffany and I along with her family in Alabama, met up in Boston to see her sister Kayla’s senior graphic art show. Kayla will be graduating from Suffolk University this spring, and to her, seeing her art show was more important than seeing her walk across the stage to get her diploma.
It’s an understatement to say I’m proud of what she’s accomplished thus far in her graphic design career. Her work is simply beautiful. She has a nice portfolio on her personal site. Her professors would not stop raving about her. Kayla’s eye-for-design, professionalism, personality and character are assets that would enhance any company or organization willing to give her a shot.
I worked with her last year on the Syndicated Writers of America website. She did the identity (a.k.a the logo) design for the site as well as for other printed pieces. I wish I would have had that kind of professionalism during my college days.
Congratulations, Kayla. Now, somebody hire her fast before she gets away.
