Billy Graham y Amigos
The Dallas Cowboys thought that they could draw a large crowd to Texas Stadium. Last night, I, along with Tiffany and Caryn (a lady from work), joined about 82,000 to see Billy Graham speak.
The trip from our house to the stadium normally takes about 45-50 minutes, so we thought we’d be real smart and leave 2 and a half hours early. We were doing well until we got about a mile from the stadium. That last mile was a doozy though. It took us about 2 hours to do the last mile.
It was youth night, so joining Billy was dcTalk’s TobyMac and Michael Tait, Jars of Clay, and Kirk Franklin. The place was probably rocking, but it was hard for us to tell because we didn’t make into the stadium. We watched it from the parking lot on a jumbotron along with 12,000 others. That’s okay though. It was still awesome to see how God used Billy Graham’s simple delivery to impact so many lives. Billy Graham has kept his integrity and his humility for so many years. What an incredible legacy to leave!
