How Bizarre

Tiffany

I noticed it was very quiet in the house yesterday morning, so I set off to find out what Caleb was up to.

I found him laying on the floor in the den on his tummy reading the Holman Bible Atlas. When I asked him what he was doing he said, “I just love this map book”.

There is no doubt in my mind that Caleb has spent more time reading that book than Andy did when he was in that seminary class.

Then I had to sit next to Caleb and tell him what every map was. He could already identify The Red Sea, Dead Sea, and a few others from the last time we read the book more than six months ago. He loves to look at the map to see where different Bible stories took place or follow the route Bible characters took.

He wanted to take the Bible Atlas with us to his soccer party and game, but I convinced him we should leave it at home.

He sure doesn’t get his love of maps from me. I couldn’t read a map to save my life. He takes after his dad on this one. I hope this means he’ll also get Andy’s sense of direction. Andy is a walking GPS, except when he’s in the mall.
