Blunders

Caleb has had a couple of blunders this past week that have really made me laugh.

The other day he was playing on his sit and spin. He looked at me and said, “I like to spit and sin”. It’s funny how misplacing two letters makes a big difference. I hope he really doesn’t like sinning, but I know he likes spitting. It must be a boy thing because none of our girlfriends spit.

Another funny blunder happened yesterday. Caleb looked at my leg and said, “Look at all those vines”. He meant veins, but thanks to all the years on my feet teaching and pregnancy they do look more like vines than veins.

The other day we were out and Caleb pointed to a man and said, “That police man is bald”. He made sure to say it loud enough for the policeman to hear it. Thankfully the man had a good sense of humor, and replied, “Hey I’m sensitive about my lack of hair.” It gave us all a good laugh.

Caleb gives me a good reason to laugh everyday!
