Caleb’s Second Dentist Visit
Caleb had his two year dental visit to Dr. Morrow today. I was dreading it because I didn’t think Caleb would be very cooperative, but I couldn’t have been more wrong! Caleb was his usual charming self the entire time. He let the dentist brush his teeth, look at each tooth with his mirror, and even use the pick to remove the little tarter build-up from two teeth. (The tarter build-up was a mineral build-up not a result from poor brushing habits…I made sure to ask about that).
The dentist just kept going on and on about how great Caleb was doing. I was so proud! It probably helped that the dentist has every cool toy ever made to play with while he looks at your teeth.
Caleb has all but two teeth. The top two year molars haven’t come in yet, but the dentist said from the look of the gums they should be in within a month or two. Then Caleb will be done with teeth until six when the baby teeth fall out.
Caleb got to pick out a toy from the dentist office to take home. He selected a huge fake bug, and we stopped by Target to pick out a new book since he behaved so well. I never would have guessed that a trip to the dentist with a two year old could have gone so well!
