When something tragic happens, often one of the first words spoken is, “My God.” Sometimes it’s asked as a question: “My God, Why?” If you’ve said that, you’re in good company. Jesus said it while hanging on the cross, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”

Be Careful What You Ask For
For about two months we’ve prayed that God would lead someone to buy our house. A two-hour round trip commute each day has a way of wearing you down. On Saturday we’ve had our most promising house buying prospect yet.

Merry Christmas
I love Christmas. I always have. I love being off work and spending time with family. I enjoy eating a little too much. We’re excited because we leave tomorrow morning for our Christmas vacation.
