As a Christ follower, I believe what the Bible says is true. I believe that the God-man Jesus lived perfectly and gave his life for my sin. And because he did, in God’s eyes, I am a holy, righteous saint, just as Jesus. But to my dismay, my personal experience is often in conflict with this truth.

Shivers. That’s what I get when I read Ephesians 5:25, “Husbands, go all out in your love for your wives, exactly as Christ did for the church—a love marked by giving, not getting.” I can think of too many times when I’m preoccupied with my own self-interest instead of giving myself up for Tiffany.

Most people I know are married, but it’s hard to really know if they’re satisfied with their relationship or if they’re faking it really well. Do you know what I mean? In public they can put on a good face, but behind closed doors I wonder if they’re really at each other’s throat, if they’re barely surviving.

My wife can do so many things at one time and make them look effortless. This is a small tribute to her mad skills.

My sweetheart is turning 32 years old tomorrow. I’m as blessed as a man could be to have her in my life.

I’ve already told you how Andy and the boys had a special night planned for me on Valentine’s Day. However, there was one thing that interrupted the night that Andy hadn’t planned on though.

There are benefits to being the only girl in a house filled with boys especially at Valentine’s Day. They treat me like a queen. Last year they made a video for me. I knew this year they had been planning a special surprise, and they didn’t disappoint.

This week Tiffany and I are celebrating our tenth anniversary. I’ve written a lot about her on this site, but since it’s my site and she’s my favorite subject, I’m going to do it again.
