ChurchMetrics.com Launches

Andy

I’m excited to announce the launch of a new web site, churchmetrics.com, which I played a small role in designing. Built by the digerati team at LifeChurch.tv, Church Metrics is a free tool for churches big and small to keep track of their weekly numbers such as attendance, offering, and baptisms.

My small part as a freelance contractor for LifeChurch was to bring some style to the design. I cleaned up the user-interface by focusing on small details like letter spacing in the text, changing font sizes and weights, placing padding around the text, and enlarging the default size of the input boxes. I’m convinced that a lot of these tiny details make a huge difference in improving the overall readability and usability of web sites.

I also created four different color schemes:

1. Dark

2. Classic

3. Holstein

4. Chocolate

Andy, thank you for all that you continue to contribute to the LC.tv Digerati team! I am so excited about ChurchMetrics…and all the other stuff that we get to work on together.

Thanks!

Talk to me, Goose
