First Happy Meal at McDonalds
Caleb spent the morning with Heather and Rachel. He always looks forward to Friday mornings.
Last night he told me “Eat Heather’s house. Heather gives yummy food”. I was a little offended because I give him good food all the time. I’m the one up at 6 am cooking him pancakes.
When Heather drops Caleb off she always tells me what they had for lunch. I was in shock when she said she took him to
McDonalds. He has never been exposed to McDonald before. About every other week we’ll have Chick-Fil-A, but he has never had any other fast food. Chick-Fil-A offers a fruit cup instead of fries, so I feel better about him eating it.
She said he ate every single bite of the cheeseburger happy meal including the fries and chocolate milk. Fries!!!! We don’t feed our child fries! Rachel even left to go play, and she kept saying, “Caleb don’t eat…come play”. Heather said he fired back, “No Caleb eating yummy burger”. He rather eat the happy meal than play. That is big.
I don’t know if I’ll be able to trust Caleb with Heather again. The list keeps getting worst. She has exposed him to chocolate milk, lemonade, peanut butter sticks, and now the happy meal with fries. Our life might not ever be the same.

LOL, I must admit that’s a little funny. If he ever ate the McDonalds out here, he’d never want to go back to another McDonalds in his life. :P I’m from Jamaica and McDonalds didn’t do so well out here, so they had to close it down.
The joys of parenting. My day will come one day when I’ll have to be doing the same thing.

There are some things in life that you can’t always control. Also there are some things that aren’t that big of a deal!!!!
