Harrison Ford…and everyman’s reason for hope

Tiffany and I saw Firewall with Harrison Ford tonight. We both loved it. It was intense much like Air Force One. During the height of the thrill, I actually expected him to say, “Get off my plane.” It was fun. I think it should win an Oscar, but action movies rarely get good reviews, do they?

As we were leaving the movie, Tiffany said, “Mmmm, Harrison Ford just gets better looking with age.”

She paused, and—trying to cover her tracks—followed with, “Just like you.”

She didn’t fool me. She was desperate. But that’s okay.

Men and women are so different. I have never really understood what makes a man attractive to a woman. There’s more to it than just looks though I can tell you that!

It’s not uncommon to see a remarkably average looking guy with a beautiful woman. And we guys look at each other and wonder, “How in the world did he end up with her?” That’s what gives everyman a reason for hope.

That’s how I feel with Tiffany. How did I get her? I wonder if that’s how Harrison Ford feels too when he’s with Ally McBeal.
