How Many Geeks Does it Take to Change a Light Bulb?
The answer to this one is two. One to screw it in and the other to document the How To Manual. I don’t like to think of myself as a geek, but if the shoe fits right? So speaking of light bulbs, I don’t know when it’s going to happen, but I know it’s inevitable. The globe on the celing above my head right now has only 1 of 3 bulbs burning. I can barely read the keys on the keyboard. Thankfully geeks know where the keys are without looking. So what’s the problem you say? Well, the ceiling is about 12 feet tall, and I don’t own a ladder. I have acess to a smaller ladder I could borrow from work, but it only gives me about about 3-4 more feet. I’m six foot so I need 6 more feet! I could scooch the bookcase over underneath that and climb up it, but alas, it is child-proof and bolted to the wall, not to mention the fact that it could fall over and I could die from the weight of all the marriage books Tiffany and I bought when we were engaged. I’m not downing the books, they’ve been a big help in our marriage. I just want to change the lousy light bulb.
