Hummer Time

My friends Kelly & Brooke Love visited us today while we were at my parents house in Wagarville. It was great to be able to hug their necks, catch up with them, talk about old times, meet their adorable children, and…

After a little while of sitting around and while the saliva was forming around my lips getting ready to deposit itself on my collar, I looked at Kelly and asked, “Can I drive your Hummer?” I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity. He said “Of course.” I guess it’s a good thing I asked. I got even bolder: “You wanna take it through the swamp?” So we drove it through Hurricane Swamp to the pump cut … And I never felt one single bump. It was great. As Ferris Bueller wisely remarked after taking his friends Fararri for a spin, “If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.”
