It Comes With the Job

One of the chores I didn’t realize came with the career of being a mom is splinter removal.

It seems like Caleb has a splinter almost once a day. I have gotten really good at removing a splinter in one piece very quickly. Today I had my personal best time on removing a huge splinter from Caleb’s hand.

Andy and I think he gets them on purpose so he can watch a few minutes of Baby Einstein, but I showed him today. I had the splinter out before the movie even started. He was very disappointed.
