Kidnapped
Tiffany surprised me by kidnapping me and taking me away for the night. Pulling it off perfectly, she arranged for her friend Sarah to stay overnight with Caleb.
When I got home from helping some friends from church move, she had my bag packed and told me that Sarah “happened to be in the neighborhood and was going to stop by for a little while.”
After Sarah arrived, Tiffany looked at me and said, “Okay hun, let’s go.”
“Go where?” I said.
“Out.”
“Huh?” I asked, looking a little puzzled.
So we went out. We saw the movie Annapolis. We give it 4 stars. It wasn’t until after dinner at Hoffbrau (our favorite steak restaurant…and fried pickles…woo hoo) that she told me she packed my bags and reserved us a hotel room. We didn’t have to hurry home because we were staying out all night.
That’s when it all clicked…
- Why I couldn’t find the T-shirt I wanted to wear. It was packed.
- Why Sarah just happened to be in the neighborhood for a work brunch when she works way over in Grapevine.
- Why I HAD to be home by 1:00 from helping my church friends move.
- Why Tiffany spent so much time straightening the house and making sure I was extra neat.
- Why Tiffany wanted me to dress up a little more
Good work, sweetheart! I am in awe.
Tiffany said she would have to donate one of her kidney’s to Sarah to make up for all the times that she’s kept Caleb for us.
