Me-Time
Life has been busy around our house the last seven weeks with a new baby and an always on the go four year old. Someone always needing Mommy for food, a diaper, or clean clothes.
My day started at 4:30 this morning, and by noon I was feeling like bedtime should be coming soon.
Today I got a special treat though. I got to lay back, put my feet up, and close my eyes in the middle of the day for thirty minutes…
...in the dentist chair.
I think it might be a sign that I’m too busy when a dentist’s appointment is my idea of relaxation. It’s like going to the spa, but insurance will cover the cost.
Yet, no matter how busy the days are I wouldn’t change a thing. Life around our house is busy but fun. I’m already looking forward to my next check up with the dentist…too bad it’s six months away.

Tiffany, this sounds just like something Erma Bombeck would write. “This is Your Life Kiddo”. It’ll be memories you’ll treasure later, but I can tell by the way you write, you already know that.
PS, The only thing better than sitting in the dentist chair is getting the “gas” while sitting in the chair.
We love you,—- Pappy and Grandy

Hi Tiffany, I’m a friend of Andy’s online, just happened by here, thought I’d say hello and you’re not alone! We just had twins in November and we’ve got a five-year-old too. I laughed out loud at the dentist chair, that’s awesome. It’s the little things we cherish, huh? My escape is walking the neighborhood – I’ve never walked so far before, but knowing it’s my only peace for what could be another week, I can go for miles! :)
God bless you both, and know I’ll be praying for your sickly one. It’s heart-breaking when our children are in the slightest pain, I know.
