Party Music = Potty Music
How do you motivate a two year old to go potty? There are many ways, but our favorite is through music. The ones we use are songs that have the word “party” in it, and we simply change the lyric to “potty.”
Here are a few examples that we have in rotation:
“Party all the Time” by Eddie Murphy
I want to potty all the time
potty all the time
potty all the time.
“Get this Party Started” by Pink
Get this potty started on a [INSERT DAY OF WEEK] night
“1999” by Prince
So tonight I’m gonna potty like it’s 1999
Yeah
Let me tell you somethin’
If you didn’t come to potty
Don’t bother knockin’ on my door
You’re options are wide open here. Can you think of any more “Party songs” that we can use? These are getting old.

I have no idea who sang it, but how about – “It’s my potty and I’ll cry if I want to” Although this one may be counterproductive to pottying, it’s still funny.

I think this was a Beastie Boys song and all I know is one line but it goes like this…(be sure to drag out the word potty)

Wendy: “It’s My Party” was Leslie Gore’s #1 hit back in 1968. Not many people know, however, that before it was Lesley’s song, it almost became the property of Phil Spector and the Crystals. (- Soure) ...not that I have any idea who Phil Spector and the Crystals are.

Wanna rock ‘n’ roll all night…
And POTTY everyday!
^ Those KISS lyrics will hopefully emphasize that pottying is not to be done at night, which is clearly for rock ‘n’ roll only.
