PhengosGroup.net Launches

The latest project to come out of my workshop is a website for a brand new company called Phengos Group. Phengos is a relativley obscure Greek word that means "light." It is used in Matthew 5:14-16:

"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."

Phengos Group is a consulting, coaching, leadership developmment, and spiritual formation organization started by Preston Gillham. He uses skills and expertise he’s learned from heading up a non-profit organization for many years. Over the years he has received numerous consulting opportunities with organizations and companies both in the non-profit and for-profit sectors. Through Phengos Group and his new website, Pres’ legitimacy and professionalism has been "ratcheted up" (a Pres phrase) to a new level.

When Pres approached me to build his website for him, he already had a clear understanding of what he wanted from his website. He had already written the content. Plus, because of my existing relationship wiith Pres (working with him at Lifetime Guarantee for my nearly five years and counting) I knew him well enough to know what he likes and dislikes. He liked the very first design comp that I gave him. So this was an easy project.

For a personal touch, notice the cameo appearance of the hammock at my parents bay house.
