So Caleb, how are you doing?

At first I was going to call this post “Too Much Information”, but oops! Already have one by that title. So then I thought I’d call it, “When you gotta go”, but no again, we’ve posted one by that title too.

Caleb had his one month sinus surgery follow-up appointment with his ENT this morning. All was going well until Dr. Robb walked into the room, stretched out his hand to Caleb for a high five, and asked him one little question:

“So Caleb how are you doing?”.

Caleb replied, “Well, I really need to poo poo.”

Hello?! Why didn’t he mention that during the 45 minutes we spent waiting to see Dr. Robb?

Dr. Robb promised to be fast so that Caleb could move onto more important matters. Next time the good doctor should clarify that he wants to know how his sinuses are doing.

The visit wasn’t all bad. Caleb got a great report. He is off 99% of the medicine he’s been on over the last year. He is eating great and sleeping well again, and most importantly his nose actually works. He couldn’t feel any better.
