Texas, Our Texas

We’re off for a week in Texas. I expect it to feel a little odd. Even though It’s no longer our home, people say that once you’ve lived there, it will always feel like home.

Tiffany’s close friend Sarah is getting married, and Tiffany is the maid of honor. They were in the church youth group together, were roommates in college, and have remained very close through the years. We’re thrilled for Sarah and Andrew. Not long after their wedding they’ll be moving to Georgia too. Macon, not Atlanta.

Kayla and Wes (Tiffany’s sister and fiance) will be flying from Boston to DFW for the wedding too, so we’ll get to spend a few days with them as well. We also have some very good friends in Fort Worth that we’re going to see and hang with, so we’re excited about that.

Now if we can just get there tomorrow with all our luggage. I still have no idea how we’re going to do it.
