The Graduate
Caleb graduated wee-school the other day, well sort of. He has a summer birthday and is about the youngest in his class, so we’re holding him back another year so he’ll be among the oldest in his kindergarten class when he starts. So this is really a trial-run graduation. I’m sure you could expect another video next year. That’s just how dads are.
It’s too bad that the funniest moment was not captured on video. As Caleb’s class was about to go sing their first number, he yelled…he didn’t just forgo his indoor voice…he hollered. We could hear him on the other side of the auditorium. He yelled, “START VIDEOING!”
The fact that he knew the video was rolling probably also explains his rug cuttin’ dance steps up there while all his sweet little classmates stood still as they were supposed to. Oh well. To us, it was priceless. Watch the video for yourself.

I’m rollin’ on the floor laughin’ with your background music. He’s precious. And I’m pretty sure I heard “McKelvey” come after him too.

Yep. that was a McKelvey that came after him. Does Bill have any family in this area?

No, and I watched again and it was spelled differently. My parents are in Marietta, though. I’m jealous of you guys.
