The Thrill of the Catch

Over the last two weeks Caleb has become a big nose picker. It is really bad, but it gives us a few funny stories. Here are two examples:

On our 12-hour drive from Alabama the other today Caleb amused himself for a while with a big booger. Andy (sitting by Caleb in the backseat) never noticed until I pointed it out. When Andy took the booger away Caleb screamed, “I want my booger back”. I think Andy considered giving the booger back just to keep him quiet for a few more minutes.

Andy was cleaning behind Caleb’s ears tonight in the bathtub when he discovered a huge dried booger stuck back there. No telling how long it has been there since Andy admitted to not washing back there in possible a couple of weeks. Now we know where Caleb is hiding the boogers so we don’t take them away.

I hope this is a very fast phase he is in. We have tried everything and so far nothing has convinced him to stop!
