“We Don’t Poop on Bob Do We?”
Sayonara Diapers. Hello "Bob the Builder" big boy underwear.
After nearly a week, the potty training boot camp is off to a poopalicious start, and today marked the first day that Caleb graduated to real underwear. I don’t know who was prouder: us or Caleb. I had to turn him upside down so he could look into the mirror and see Bob’s big face on his rear end. Caleb, already a big fan of Bob the Builder, was beside himself. He spent much of the day showing off and talking about his underwear to mommy, daddy, his girlfriends Megan and Rachel, strangers at the museum, and people on the phone like his Mimi.
Not wanting to dirty up Bob’s head, Caleb was inspired to poop in the potty for the second time in his life today. He’s got the tee-teeing down cold. He’s not had a tee-tee accident (except for during the night) in 6 days, but pooping is not quite as easy. In a conversation yesterday with my brother-in-law, Chris confirmed that pooping was indeed difficult. Actually the word he used was "traumatic." Thanks, Chris, for that candid confession.
