Winds of Change
Saying goodbye is hard
For almost six years I’ve served as the Electronic Communications Manager at Lifetime Guarantee. I have always considered Lifetime Guarantee much more than a job—but as my family.
That’s why there is a significant amount of sadness mixed with my excitement about the future. They saw something in me when they hired me as an intern that I didn’t know I had. They gave me the ability to discover and refine gifts I never knew I had.
By sharing their life with me, Bill, Anabel, and Pres Gillham (as well as Caryn, Reny and others) have brought me to a greater understanding of THE LIFE … of what Jesus meant when He said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.” They have given me a passion to see other Christians grasp their true identity in Christ. They have led me to see the enormous grace of our Father, which is more significant than any technical expertise I have acquired in the last six years. I could not be more thankful for my time here.
What’s next?
I have accepted a web designer position at Fellowship Church in Grapevine, TX. I will work with a talented team which includes Brian Bailey, Jeph Kryzak, and Brad Murray. And by the way, they are also looking to add another developer to the team.
Under the direction of Pastor Ed Young, Fellowship Church is an unbelievably creative church. One of their mottos is that they are “consistently inconsistent.” They are always looking for new ways to share their timeless message to build Believers and to compel potential Believers.
I am also jazzed about the web team’s embracing of web standards as well as their COFFEE philosophy of web development:
- C = Cheap
- O = Open
- F = Fast
- F = Friendly
- E = Easy
- E = Excellent
What about freelancing?
Because of the expected work load, the new-job learning curve, and the 45-minute, one-way commute until our house sells; my freelance web design gig will be put on hold indefinitely. I will, however, continue support for my existing clients.

We have been praying for you, and are excited to see how God is going to use you in this new position.
He is so faithful to answer our prayers, and place us in the center of His will if we allow Him too.
Congrats on the new place of service and we’ll continue to pray as ya’ll look into the big move!
